 The Florida Multifamily 50 ranks the 50 largest apartment operators in Florida by the number of rental apartment homes directly managed in the state as of October 1, 2026. 

Methodology Standards

A transparent overview of how the Florida Multifamily 50 is researched and ranked. 

Companies are ranked by the number of rental apartment homes they directly manage in Florida as of October 1, 2026. 


Eligible organizations actively manage rental apartment communities in Florida. Condominiums, single-family rentals, hotels, scattered-site rentals, and communities managed by an unrelated third party are excluded. 


Research combines company disclosures, official websites, management announcements, public records, property-level research, and direct company verification. 


Yes. Each company will have an opportunity to review information attributed to it before publication and submit factual corrections or supporting information.
